A classic tale of self-discovery, romance, and adventure, Rio is the story of Blu, a flightless macaw who was taken from the forests of Rio de Janeiro as a young bird and raised by a kind girl in a small Minnesota town. When an ornithologist comes to town and informs Blu's now-grown owner Linda that Blu is the last male of his species, Blu and Linda return to Rio so that Blu can mate with a feisty female named Jewel. Thus begins an adventure in which Blu encounters everything from the complexities of courtship and love, to thugs involved in an exotic animal theft ring, strange new friendships--including one with an overly friendly slobbering bulldog--and a crazy ride through a Carnaval parade. Blu and Linda both mature as a result of their journey in Rio, and love ensures that life will never be quite the same for either ever again. The animation in Rio is quite impressive, the characters are endearing, the Brazilian music is very appealing, and the star-studded voice cast includes Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Will  garmin nuvi 1350lmt i Am, Wanda Sykes, Jane Lynch, George Lopez, and Jamie Foxx. When I first heard of Rio my expectations were not high, never the less I wanted to watch it, mainly because of the Studio them self i loved Ice age so i though i would give Rio a chance.

How ever my mind was blown with in the first few moments of the movie actually starting, it was a stunning and vibrant welcoming in to the movie with a exhilarating song to go with it.

Now from the moment i fount out that Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) was the last of his kind and had to mate with Jewl (Anne Hathaway) I had figured out the story but that did not stop me from watching on, and thank god it didn't, though the story was predictable it was told in a magnificent way so much to make want to watch it again.

Moving on to the cast it self, it was not until I looked at the cast list did I see what great performers were playing in the movie, this was down to that i was so took in with the characters it totally slipped my mind to think who there voice actor was, and i was even more surprised when i saw that Jesse Eisenberg played Blue, he was great in the Social network so I was shocked I didn't pick up on him while watching the movie.

Before I conclude this review nikon d5100 review I would just like to say that the music in this movie was breath taking through out, and at no point did I feel the movie was out of place or was too in your face.

Overall this is a great movie, great for the entire family and if you are on the fence on if to watch this or not then let this be the final push to convince you to watch this as i promise you will not be let down.

I played this tonight after I received the game in the mail. Overall it is very addicting to see the storyline progress and I like the way you can affect the outcomes. There are supposedly 8 endings. I am on the last part of Stage 7 (8 stages total), and I've played for about 9 hours 45 minutes. So the game is pretty short... I did not mess with the arcade game in the bar though. But if you go for the different endings and two different girls, you will obviously have a lot of replay value. Catherine has many funny moments and everyone can relate to the relationship issues in here. The puzzles are CHALLENGING which is what I like. There were times when I was very frustrated screaming at the TV, nba jerseys and a few had me redoing them for over half an hour because I couldn't solve them correctly. People who get frustrated easily will probably not enjoy this game. The stages actually require you to think and use your brain. I wish there were more games like this. If you get stuck, it's better to just restart from the checkpoint or do something differently because there aren't infinite ways to solve each puzzle. You're either doing it right or wrong. Bottom line Catherine is UNIQUE and one of the best PS3 games I've played in a while. I rarely buy a full price game freshly released but this was definitely worth my money.

Hands down, Catherine is one of the most original and visually appealing mature games released this Summer of 2011. The presentation is absolutely gorgeous and the serious theme of morality is a welcome and refreshing change compared to usual violent video games of this generation. Unfortunately, the gameplay is not for everyone and while the story is very entertaining, the overall unbalanced pacing of the game can turn some gamers off.

The main attraction of the game is its puzzles and while they gradually differ as you gain new techniques and fight different bosses, the sad reality is, your first puzzle is not very different from the final puzzle. To balance out the puzzles are what I call "social" parts of the game where casino bonus you can interact with other characters in the bar and further develop the excellent story. In order to further immerse players into the game, a mixture of anime and the unique cel-shaded graphics are used throughout to move the game along.

But is the game fun? For me, not really. I completed the Japanese version when it came out on February 2011 and just finished the US version a short while ago. I appreciate the fact that Atlus and the Persona team continue to evolve and develop such original games but this was not my cup of tea. For everyone else, play it for yourself and hopefully you understand why this is one of the most original and refreshing games to come out in garmin gps a very long time.

There always seems to come a time in every British actors career where they must play the role of a historical British monarch. Riding on the success of his career defining performance in "A Single Man" and sampling the glory of Best Actor nominations across the award circuits, Colin Firth comes storming back with another film, determined, this time, to take the all the prizes with him too. But is "The King's Speech" worth its pre-Oscar hype? Set across the years between the First and Second World War, "The King's Speech" concentrates on the rise of King George VI (Firth) and his personal woes, including his infamous stammer and disdain for public speaking. Obviously being royalty, having an ability to engage the public in moving and inspirational speeches tends to be a necessity of the job. In attempting to overcome this disability, he's entrusted in the care of the eccentric and flamboyant speech therapist, book store Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). Over the course of the film, the two men of distinctly different social classes come to blows but ultimately forge a friendship which will last a lifetime. Colin Firth's portrayal of George VI (or simply Bertie to his family and friends) was a fascinating insight into the king's troubled personal life. His tragic inability to speak, both in public and to his family, was also tender and, in a way, heart-warmingly humbling. While Firth will deservedly get the plaudits for his regal starring role, it was Geoffrey Rush's witty, genuine, off-the-wall performance as Logue which personally blew me away, with immense comic timing and inability to be overwhelmed while in the presence of his most prestigious client. The supporting cast was littered with enough real quality to make any award body take notice, and make most audiences marvel in delight. The graceful and articulate Helen Bonham Carter gives a honest and loving performance as the late Queen Mother, Elizabeth. Michael Gambon is sharp and somewhat intimidating as Bertie's father, King George V. Guy Pearce is arrogantly brilliant as Firth's brother and predecessor, King Edward VIII. While the excellent Timothy Spall shone once again, in his second portrayal as the great Winston Churchill (his first was in October's god awful stop animation, Jackboots on Whitehall). It was also a pleasure to see the classy Jennifer Ehle - who starred opposite Firth in, perhaps, his most famous role as Mr Darcy in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice - as Lionel's wife. Hooper should also be credited for making a visually engaging period drama, which never once felt tired or dull on the eyes, as a lot of these quintessentially British affairs can so often become. The film's themes are also an uplifting and enjoyable treat for all; a story of friendship between essentially a prince and a pauper, a man's journey to overcome his own personal adversaries and become the king he was born to be. dvd movies Yes we won't lie, this isn't original by any means: these are classic tried and tested formulas that transcends cinema of the ages - but rarely to this level of detail and panache.
